Trip to see Northern Lights in the capital of the Sami people along the shores of Inari lake
The largest lake in Lapland is called Inari and it is located more than 300 km north of the Arctic Circle. Its more than 1,000 square kilometers and more than 3,000 islands are nestled in the middle of the largest wilderness area in Europe. And right here is where we will travel. Our base will be a small charming hotel located in the small village of Inari, located beside the lake of the same name, which is the capital of the Sami people, the traditional reindeer breeders.

During the day we will visit a traditional farm Sami where we see at first hand the culture of reindeer herders, and among other activities, we will visit Ukonkivi, the sacred island of ancient Samis.

And at night we will have the opportunity to marvel at what scientists consider the most impressive luminous phenomenon of nature: the Aurora Borealis. There is no better place to watch it than in the middle of the Lapland woods. There, far from the light pollution of the cities, we will go into ecstasies over the vision of a colorful night sky moving. Who sees an Aurora Borealis never forget it...
