On 2nd May 2009 Jose M. Naranjo, manager of Arctic World and the German settled in Spain Ingrid Ortlieb, finished the first Spanish crossing of the Penny Icecap, an ice sheet of 7.000 squared kilometres located in Baffin Island, Canada. They also opened a new route never done before and probably the longest one.
